Kilig is a lifestyle brand focused on premium ethically produced garments, professional illustration and human connection. This all began sitting around a campfire at Hillside Festival in Guelph, Ontario. We wanted to create a safe space for all to shop, to express, as well as adding our voices to mental health, progression and self-love.
Let's discover new things, go on wild adventures, make mistakes and stay inspired with fresh content. There's passion present inside all of us- we just have to listen.
Art Department • He/ Him
Daniel was born in Toronto, Ontario and spent his angsty youth working in concert venues, attending music festivals and on tours with musicians. Since he left Sheridan College in 2014, Daniel has been illustrating under the moniker FutureProof Visuals for various clients, a visual designer/ webmaster for a nightclub and collecting records.
Tech Department • He/ Him
Ernie grew up performing in various musical endeavors and bands all across the country and the US. He's apt at anything to do with technology, customer relations and generally having a great time. Ernie has a critical tech career and runs Rapture Repairs, a company focused on fixing electronics. He's a very proud uncle.
We both hold passion for live music, expressing ourselves and growth. It's as vital to unlearn as it is to learn and we hope that this brand, this safe space- can aid in perspective shifts, comfort while you're out exploring this wild world and, most importantly, keeping your bodies and homes toasty.
"The woods are never solitary- they are full of whispering, beckoning friendly life. But the sea is a mighty soul, forever moaning of some great, unsharable sorrow, which shuts it up into itself for all eternity. We can never pierce the infinite mystery- we may only wander, awed and spell-bound, on the outer fringe of it. The woods call to us with a hundred voices, but the sea has one only- a mighty voice that drowns our souls in its majestic music."
-Lucy Maud Montgomery
